Her phone pinged with a notification. It was Aaron. 

"One of my friends just broke up with her boyfriend. It was a long distance relationship and they couldn't take it anymore", texted Aaron.

"There is a reason for that, I guess", she replied.

"Why tho"

"Idk. Maybe because as time passes, you begin to see the flaws which you initially ignored in your admiration for someone. And you gotta stay connected despite that, if you really liked them. It's a different story if you outgrew them."
