In Control

Chasing a dream can be a lonely and daunting feeling.

This dream is teaching me patience and perseverance. 

It is teaching me resilience. 

It is teaching me how to thrive in uncertainty and be comfortable in it. 

It is teaching me not to compare myself to other people. 

It is teaching me that my life is worth more than any hardship I go through, however, some hardships need to be traversed if I have to show up for the life I deserve. 

Chasing a dream can be a lonely and daunting feeling. 

And it is moments of reflection and solitude like this when I feel most in control.

In control of what is, in control of what was. 

In control of what is to come.
