The reason I finally got this is because it kept coming back to me until I did.

Tons of things happen in the world to tons of people. There are tons of stories out there. 

But in your life, only one good story will make an actual difference. Your story. 

You need not give up on the future if your past wasn’t the way you wished it to be.

The secret is ...

REWRITING.

You have that twist of courage you need to rewrite EVERY DAMN THING that is not just in your future, but also in your past. 

Ruthlessly edit out all the parts that keep getting you down. Cross all that shit out. It’s the past, so it won’t make a difference to anyone else. And it’s your story, anyway; so you should have the prime say. 

No matter how crazy it is, edit it.

Highlight the parts that you want to store in your memory. These are the parts that give you a kick, that inspire you, that open up your eyes. Parts you know are going to change your life IF USED CORRECTLY. 

You need not get tormented by all of the shit that has happened. 

REWRITE YOUR PAST.

And watch it turn into a glaring, sparkling guiding light to your future.
