 Girl. Clarity, you need clarity. 

You don't own him. He doesn't own you. 

You are not in a relationship with him. Just because both of you are texting all sweet, does not automatically mean you are in a relationship. I repeat, it is NOT A RELATIONSHIP. 

And now that things are turning out this way, I don't think you'd even be tempted anymore to ask him to send you affection. Affection is something that is given from the heart. If you have to ask for it over and over again, or even remind him for a kiss, it's probably not what you deeply desire and that is probably not your man and he probably also doesn't see you as his woman. 

Sometimes, its just nice to have someone to share affection with. Unfortunate, but true. You enjoy their company, you enjoy their kisses, but that's kinda it. You enjoy the feeling of affection. It starts there and it ends there and it doesn't have to grow into something more. Especially if you are doing this long distance and you barely know each other and you don't even see a potential future where the both of you might end up together. 

So don't go fighting about "Omg you haven't texted me in 48 hours". He is not your boyfriend. You are not his girlfriend. He can choose to not answer if he wishes, and you can choose to do the same. 

What you mustn't do though, is be rude or dramatic or demand his presence. Good friendship is one of the most underrated things in this world and sometimes it is just really nice to have someone who understands you and lets you be.
