Goodness, her mind was basically all over the place.
She needed to pause. She needed to focus.
Aaron was one of her closest friends and he had this absolutely amazing sense of humor and he cheered her up almost all the time.
And she would catch herself sometimes checking her phone repeatedly to see if Aaron had texted.
Not working out. Not how it should be.
"I have places to go. I have things to do. I need to pay attention to what I'm doing", she told herself.
She turned off wifi. Put on a song. And started studying.
