She stared at his text messages. She could see he was trying really hard to connect with her.

But it had been 5 years since they'd last seen each other. Not once had he written to her. 

Did he really think she was still the same person?

Now she had zero feelings for him. She was so passive, it surprised her and it made her deeply happy.
