PETER AGAIN

She was in the car, on her way home, when she suddenly found herself thinking of Peter.

Peter was a friend who understood her more than a lot of people. Peter would respect her and talk to her and he’d encourage her. Everytime she found herself needing a grip on sanity, she’d text Peter a ton of messages.

Peter was quiet and observant. And she knew he meant it when he said,

“You’re very smart. You can do it. “

“You seem to be a very clever person.”

“Wow, okay. I am surprised by how hard you can be on yourself. Please know that I am here and you can always talk to me about anything you want.”

She smiled.
