EMPTY ROOMS FILLED WITH PEOPLE
Today had been lovely. She’d spoken to one of her friends who lived far away and even though he wasn’t near, she always texted him whenever she needed to feel calm.
It was an intuition. Everytime she panicked, she wrote him.
He was like her. He had the same dreams, and she knew he understood what it felt like to be restless, to be constantly questioning if you were in the right place, to be standing in a room full of people and feeling like no one was there; she knew he felt it too.
And she was grateful for the friendship. She was grateful for the connection. She hoped it would last.
