GET OVER IT QUICK

She laughed. A clear, loud, ringing laugh. 

She grinned and shook her head with disbelief. It surprised her how quickly she could fall for people and how quickly she got over them. 

She would spend days and days pining for someone. And one fine morning, she would wake up like the past few days had never happened. She would wake up fresh and happy and focussed on new goals.

She wasn’t one to drag things along. When it was time to move on, there was no one who achieved that quicker than her. 

She didn’t mind it. It kept her focused towards her goals. What was meant to be for her would stay. What wasn’t would leave and she made sure she left the door wide open for things that didn’t belong in her life.
