THE WARMTH WITHIN

She woke up very calm, unlike how restless she felt when she went to sleep last night. 

The world was moving around her frantically. She just lay there on the bed, staring up at the ceiling. Today, she felt oddly in control.

It had taken her a while to fall asleep last night. Was it the winter? Was it the thoughts inside her head. It hadn’t been very pleasant. 

But she woke up and her bed was the warmest thing ever. She snuggled up and pulled the blankets closer. 

She wanted to feel warm inside out. And she felt warm within only when she exercised control over her life.
