I WON'T LET YOU USE ME

So I was having a conversation with someone yesterday (she isn't native in English, and she doesn't live near) and I told her how MUCH I enjoy talking to her. And that I was texting away while everyone around me was studying and she replied "But I'm studying too :D"

And I laughed and wrote, “Traitor"


And she was like, "My English exam scores kinda depend on you" 


...


Ah ok.


Like, LOL. I have a feeling that she was joking but I have to admit I blinked. 


I'll let it go because she is a friend. But that did make me feel very slightly uncomfortable.


All I'm saying is I was reminded of how it's so necessary to set standards for every person you have in your life.


Change their position and importance according to your preferences. It's your life. 


Don't let anyone make a fool out of you.
