YOU DON'T NEED HIM
Texting texting texting.
Talking. Connecting.
This is what I asked a friend a while ago.
"I NEED TO ASK YOU SOMETHING"
"Yeah, what is it?"
"What do you do when you are waiting for someone to text you back? Like, you don't want to be that person who stares at their phone waiting for that ONE PERSON to text you back but sometimes you really can't help it."
And he, being the nice, sweet, UTTERLY CHILL, I-know-you-are-crazy-but-i-will-be-patient-with-you friend that he is; told me that he hasn't really been through something like this (WHAT??) but he thinks it's all a state of mind.
He said that I shouldn't wait for this person to text me back because that person could have many things to do or is probably answering important calls and texts at the moment. And that it's not because they don't want to talk to me, they probably just can't at the moment.
"PROBABLY????" HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO LIVE WITH THIS 'PROBABLY'?
Calm down. Let's not overreact.
And the first thing is told him was, "WHY ARE YOU SO WISE????"
I told him how I really appreciated how he said "state of mind" (deep af, heart eyes)
And then if that was the case, then my 'state of mind' was messed up, because I was being insecure af.
And then this is what I said,
" But you know what? If a person is ignoring me or he 'can't' speak with me, it takes me some time, but it's not very hard for me to let this person go. It's like I practice (LOL) with every person who replies late. It makes me stronger. I tell myself that I REALLY REALLY don't need people."
