DO IT BECAUSE IT MATTERS XO
I sit in silence, my hair tied up in a bun.
Everything around me is very, very silent. You could hear a pin drop.
The only sound in this room is me typing away on my lovely bronze-gold-coloured keyboard.
I have been questioning every little thing I do.
For example, why am I writing right now ? Why do I do this?
Probably because this is one of the most meaningful things I have ever done in my life. When I express all the craziness inside me, and when I see that there is someone in the great big OUT THERE SOMEWHERE reading, I feel like I'm doing something that actually matters.
I found these and I took screenshots.
"Write like it matters and it will" ~ Libba Bray.
"Start writing, no matter what. The water does not flow until the faucet is turned on" ~ Louis L'Amour.
"Write what disturbs you, what you fear, what you have not been willing to speak about. Be willing to be split open" ~ Natalie Goldberg
"Find your best time of the day for writing and write. Don't let anything else interfere. Afterwards, it won't matter to you that the kitchen is a mess" ~ Esther Freud.
And then this.
"A true piece of writing is a dangerous thing. It can change your life"
~ Tobias Wolff.

Ps: I'm listening to this Nightcore version of Bieber and Fonsi's Despacito and I'm replaying the beginning (the English part) AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN.
